Random But Useful Nutrition Fact #9

Eating fiber reduces cholesterol. Cholesterol is used to create bile. Bile is released in the small intestine to emulsify fats. The body has the ability to reuse it's bile, however, if there is fiber in the diet it will remove the bile from the intenstine, forcing your body to create more out of the cholesterol (lipoproteins) floating around your body. The body be cray yall and will protect itself if you feed it the right stuff. Nutrition genomics is real.
